Hide Ohtoshi serves as Controller of the Tax and Accounting Department at Diamond Realty Investments, Inc., where he oversees accounting, tax, financial reporting, budgeting, and other key back-office functions for Diamond Realty and its subsidiaries. His responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of DRI’s consolidated financial statements, reviewing financial information for its joint ventures and subsidiaries, coordinating annual audits and tax compliance, and providing financial support for new business initiatives, including the company’s data center business.

Before joining Diamond Realty, Hide spent approximately 10 years with Mitsubishi Corporation, holding several positions of increasing responsibility in Japan and Myanmar, including in the Corporate Accounting Department in Tokyo. In that role, he led a team responsible for consolidating financial information from Mitsubishi Corporation’s overseas subsidiaries into its global consolidated financial statements. He also supported accounting policy implementation, quarterly financial reporting, budgeting and profitability analysis, and audit coordination with Deloitte.

Hide brings extensive expertise in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, budgeting, audit coordination, and cross-border financial reporting. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), helping ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial reporting across global operations.

Hide earned a bachelor’s degree from Waseda University.
