Yusuke [Nick] Nishiyama serves as Deputy COO at Diamond Realty Investments, Inc., bringing over 14 years of experience in the real estate industry to his role. He supports the President & CEO and the COO in the overall management of the company, while also leading strategic planning initiatives and overseeing the firm’s industrial team operations.

Prior to joining DRI, Nick served as Deputy General Manager of the Strategy Planning Office within the Urban Development & Digital Infrastructure Division at Mitsubishi Corporation’s Tokyo headquarters. In this role, he was responsible for leading division-wide strategic planning, personnel management, and budget coordination and monitoring.

Before that, he was seconded to MC Urban Development Indonesia (MCUDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, where he served as Director of Business Development. There, he led the launch and execution of new development projects totaling over 2 million square feet of logistics facilities, in addition to overseeing residential development initiatives and managing a local project team.

Earlier in his career, Nick gained broad experience across strategy, investment sourcing, and project coordination roles in both Japan and the U.S.

In Japan, he worked on large-scale logistics development projects exceeding $300 million as a project manager, and contributed to the acquisition of a REIT asset management company. In the United States, he was involved in loan warehousing operations for CMBS investments during a training assignment in Stamford, Connecticut.

Nick holds a Master’s degree in Urban Engineering from the University of Tokyo and is a CFA® charterholder.
